its me okay, get all of your eyes here :D
so after yisi's and hira's post, aren't you guys motivated by their post?? but actions speaks louder than words, so for all those guys who haven't start working hard this year, please buck up now, as it is not too late :D AND for all those who have been burying your head in all that thick books and the mountains of homework, peservere, and I am sure you guys will come out top for this year O's. And to some guys who still want to skip school because u are so tired, think twice. Take me for an example, I am going to break my own personal record of coming school for two weeks straight, and did not skip remedial. If I can do it, why can't you?
Camp is approaching in just a few days, and I just want all of you guys to treasure this camp. This is the last camp we are having in our secondary school life, and I am sure you guys will look back one day saying, " My last camp in my secondary school life was in sec 4, and you bet I enjoyed it." Yes, enjoy this camp well, and treat it as a short break from all the homeworks and studying.
Remember, this is your last year, and tell yourself I am going to study hard and do well this year. Never say die :D
So I guess, Term 1 Week 3 starts tomorrow. Isn't that fast? Haha.
Anyway, for all those who haven't been working up to your potential the previous two weeks, it isn't too late to start tomorrow. For those who have been doing your best, good job and keep it consistent. For those who are on the verge of giving up, remember that your future relies on this year.
This year, the next 10 months in fact is the last league of our secondary school life. It is going to be the last leg of our tiresome race. So everyone, keep going!! Like yisi said, we are powerful, so make good use of that power!
I hope all of us will be able to start the next week with a fresh and positive mind and do our best! Remember, Thomas Edison said...

im saying this out from the bottom of my heart.
Dear 4/4 , how are you guys doing? It is the second week into school, yet it seems like so many things has already happened. Michelle has just left, and the O level results were released just earlier in the day. Are you already feeling tired, burdened and stressed, or are you still taking things slowly and lightly?
Dont misunderstand, I'm not trying to point out who's right and who's wrong here. And to be absolutely honest, I'm having a confusion of emotions from both sides.
What I'm trying to say is, no matter what it is that you are feeling, dont lose sight of what you want to see at the end of the race this year.
Let's not forget what Michelle wrote in her letter to us. Now that we know she has such hopes for us, let's not disappoint her.
I dont know how many of you agree with me, but what she said in her letter was absolutely true.
4/4 , we really dont realise how great we are. the worst thing is, we don't make use of that greatness.
we used to think we could get by everyday ignoring that greatness. but now's the time to stop all these nonsense.
let's not be disheartened by the people who never believed in us. let's not disappoint the people who have hopes for us.
yes we may be young.
we may be foolish. we may be rash. we may be naiive. we may be hormone-stricken.
we may be everything grownups think we are.
but we are powerful. we have a power which no one can beat.
let's not be afraid of our own power.
for once, let's not close our eyes and lose ourselves. because I know where I want to stand at the end of this race. and i really really really want to see all of you there with me.
"when we leave this year we wont be coming back". 4/4 i will be honest and say that i will really miss this wonderful class when this race is run. but instead of dwelling into sad, soppy leavings, i'm going to think about how i'm going to appreciate you now, in the present. i want all of us to work hard together. to laugh, to cry, to fight, to go crazy, to feel the pain together.
yes, it WILL get really difficult and painful. but as long as all of us are in this together, each one of us could take a part of this pain away. i want to be in this, i hope you do too.
let each of us be a legend for ourselves. let's not be afraid to chase our dreams. whether it is that you want to be a doctor, a lawyer, a journalist, a road sweeper, a strip dancer, a car racer, a technician, a businessmen, or whether you just want to obtain good results to admit into your desired polys and JCs - it is all very possible.
all it takes is just a bit more of courage.
i know... I KNOW this is an extremely overused song, but please just listen to it this once, and think about what you want from this year.

Happy new year
i am here to post after nish's touching post. and i totally agree with nisha. hahas. although i dun really care about the looking down part. who cares right? every single one of you in 3'4 rocks and i really love you guys and we only know that 3'4'09 had rock every moment of schooling in 2009 :) don't we?
